Picture Overload!

Ok, I have so much that I want to post about and yet I don't know where to start! First of all I have been terribly too emotional lately. No I'm not pregnant. I was just reading a post from a mommy to a daughter and I was crying. I know that's not bad, but I cried watching a breast cancer commercial...ON MUTE!! Yes I know something is wrong with me. Anyway, I'll just catch up on everything mostly with pictures. I'll start with November. The day before Koby's birthday we (Koby, Mandy, Emi, and my lil bro Spence) flew out to DC. Tim, M'liss,& Kate met us there. The next day we woke up early so that we could make our tour for the White House! I don't know how many people can say that they got to go inside the White House, but now we can. It was so cool to hear the stories and see the incredible architecture. A few semesters back I took a Historical Furnishings and Architecture class and basically all the furniture and architecture was right out of the text book! I LOVED it!! We spent Friday, Saturday, & part of Sunday in DC. Let's just say we could have spent a whole week there. We had such a blast there. After DC we drove to good ol Williamsburg to M'liss and Tim's house. This was the first time that Koby had been there so it was fun to show him this beautiful place that I've fallen in love with. We stayed until the day after Thanksgiving so we were able to have Thanksgiving dinner with M'liss' family. Neither of us has ever had to make anything, so this was a new experience for us. I made the turkey, M'liss made the pies, and we both helped with the rest. M'liss had gotten fabric to make Kate & Emi some Thanksgiving dresses, so the night before we tried to get them done but didn't, so we were trying to get the dinner and dresses done on Turkey day. Anyway here's some of our favorite pics from the trip:

Well, now on to December. One great thing that happened was that I finished my last semester of school!!! Yay for me! I have to wait til Spring to actually walk, but I'm done with all my classes! December we also got to attend many Christmas parties and spend lots of time with family and friends. Emi got to sit on Santa's lap for the first time at the Bawden Christmas party. At first she was ok then after she got a look at him she wasn't so sure. On Christmas Eve we went to Koby's parents and then afterwards we went over to my parent's house. We acted out the nativity for my dad and grandparents. It was really fun and really brought the true meaning of Christmas to the start of our celebrations. My parents and those that live in their house tried to memorize The Living Chirst before Christmas, they weren't able to finish so they handed out the rest of it to the rest of the family. After we were done with the nativity we recited it. It truly brought the spirit into my heart and reassured me the Christ was born and died for us. It was such an amazing feeling. We had a wonderful Christmas time and were so blessed with so much!
